ox, rat and tiger.
Mrs.Khoo came into class to tell us more about the Chinese New Year festival. She brought clothes which children were keen to dress up in.

She told us some of the traditions, showed us some Chinese character writing  and answered lots of questions.

Carise gave us all special red envelopes as a celebration of the 7th day of the festival, known as Human Day which is considered to be the birthday of everybody.

Thank you Mrs Khoo and Carise, we now know more about the Chinese New Year.

Inspire+ Legacy Log Assemblies at Marston and Barkston.

We welcomed Inspire+ and Allington School during the Legacy Log Tour assembly. Our Bronze Ambassadors: Annie, Harry and Mathilda, delivered the actual assembly. At the end, Allington;s ambassadors passed the pledge to us together with a softball kit bag for us to use.
The theme was Well Being and how to be healthy in body and mind. We learned how much exercise we should do every day: 60 minutes, the importance of friends and doing things that make us feel happy.

The passing over of the pledge.

The following day we went to Barkston School, taking part in their assembly and finally reading our pledge, promising to keep active and healthy having fun doing sport.

Waiting for all Barkston to come into the hall- the only red amongst a sea of blue.

Well done ambassadors, you read well and represented Marston brilliantly.
