Our School Council

Each class this week had to vote for a boy and girl from each year group to act as representitives on our School Council.
Votes were counted and the 14 children  elected held their first meeting with Mrs.Cox where they made decisions about World Book day and also Red Nose Day.
Watch out on the weekly newsletters for information from the children.

High 5 Netball matches

On Thursday ,after the sunny few days earlier in the week, our High 5 Netball team played 3matches - 2 league and 1 friendly match on a the cold and drizzly evening at Priory School. It ended being played under flood lights as it got dark!
We had qualified for league 2 so knew we would have to play well.
Our first match was against Ropsley and we turned a 1-2 loss at half time into a 4- 2 win.
Game 2 was against St.Mary's and we won 6- 0.
Our final game( a friendly ) was against Huntingtower. We lost 3-4 in a closely fought game.
The team played superb netball demonstrating excellent netball skills and team work.
Proud at the end of 3 matches - all smiles after representing the school brilliantly.

Fabulous - I'm proud of the way you all played and conducted yourselves.

Tag Rugby Coacing in Class 3

We welcomed Will Pert back to coach Tag Rugby. Will is coaching class 2 and 3 and then running an after school club for R, Y 1,2 and 3.
Class 3 enjoyed a warm sunny afternoon playing various games to get us used to working as a team, throwing and catching a rugby ball.
Stick in the mud using a rugby ball to tag...

Tag and making a chain to catch others...

I doubt the weather will be that good every week!
