Book Day

At the end of our book fair week we held our special book day where children and staff came dressed as their favourite book characters.In the morning Y6 were in charge from 9.30-10.30 . They had to work together and prepare special activities relating to books and book characters.
Goldfinches : coloring, word searches, biscuit character making, mask making and much more.

After break every adult had 2 reading sessions with a different year group where favourite
stories and poems were read and shared.

Our Book Fair

We held our annual Scholastic Book Fair the last week before half term .The fair was open several times a day for parents and children to choose books. Money raised would gain commission for school to use to select books for each class.


I'll update at the end to see how much we raised for school.

Harvest Festival

On Tuesday the church was full with children and parents celebrating our Harvest Festival.Our Worship leaders did a super job announcing all the items and hymns to the congregation.
Our Super Strings violinists performed to open our celebration followed by the presentation of our Harvest gifts that this year will be donated to the local Food bank.The church was filled to the rafters with beautiful singing, poems and prayers all helping us to celebrate Harvest.

                                      Class 2 sang a song reminding us about how precious water is.




                          They sang it beautifully, filling the church with their glorious singing.


Class 3 performed a poem about Harvest, rearranging the letters to make: STARVE,EAT,HEART,EARTH reminding us that not everyone has a good harvest .





We all HAVE enough to eat so we thank God for our wonderful HARVEST.
