Start of a new term...

Carise was voted as our first Respect certificate winner by her peers and  Class 3 adults.Well done- a fabulous start to the new term.

Hot Seating:
We are using our Anglo Saxon topic to inspire our writing in English. To learn more we used a drama activity: Hot Seating where children took the role of people in an image and their peers questioned them in order to develop ideas for our writing. Lots of questions and ideas were generated.

Dance with Beth
We are happy to have Beth this term to teach us Dance. For the first session she played some music and groups had to think of a film it could be from and make up some dance to go with it.

Some great ideas and even better team work. Next week we are starting a dance based on the Anglo Saxons.

After wards we enjoyed ice cream outside.

Plenty of sauces to go on the ice cream.

Seconds for everyone- no cones left so Ben just had the last bit of ice cream straight from the tub!

Sooooo hot!

Inside we presented Mr. Caton with a few things to help him in his next school: a tin with teacher essentials in and a folder for important documents. He also got his own Dojo cushion to help him remember us by.

Thank you Mr. Caton- we all enjoyed the time you spent at Marston with us. Good luck in your new job( we will be competitors in some festivals now!)
