At the start of term we played "people bingo"-we had to find different people in our class that fitted in with the statements on the sheet. eg My
birthday is in the same month as yours, I
was born in Lincolnshire, I have green eyes,I've visited a capital city...the same person could only sign 1 box!
In our sharing we also wanted to know some details-what capital city? Where in Lincolnshire?-just to check everyone was asking and not just wanting yes/ no responses!
We learnt a lot about our new class including-no-one had green eyes.
asking and finding different people to sign sheets
do you....can you....have you....?
We also completed various activities to put on our display washing lines - to show class 3 all working together.
Here we are busy at work in our afternoon places.
We still enjoy Golden Time!
stacking cup towers
colour coordinated too!
Maths-place value investigations.
Thinking, then pairing , then sharing our solutions.
comparing
talking to others
