End of term activities, lighting, maths, Christmas Tree Festival...

Stage Lighting
Mr Watson, who does the lighting for us for our Christmas Production, came into school to show Y6 how to work and control the lights .
Children were shown how to use the various spot lights and how to follow characters as they moved across the stage.

Not as easy as it looks! Thank you Mr Watson for showing us how to control the stage lights.

Christmas Tree Festival
Mrs Ballaam made decorations for our school tree with all classes and asked children from class 3 to help her decorate the tree in the church.

Christmas Maths Investigations
In the last week we had a folder of Christmas maths problems to solve. These included trying to solve Maths-Doku problems, where Christmas trees were planted, Santa's age,how many branches on a Christmas tree and lots more-got us really thinking and working well together as well as solving some tricky maths!
2 heads are better than one!

                                                                     how about ...

Christmas hats-to help us think Christmas  and hopefully solve the                                                                       problems quicker
The tree must be plated here because......

All working hard and enjoying the maths

Some great investigating class 3.
