Certificates, book fair and Dr.Ridout.

Maisie was nominated and voted to receive the class respect certificate the week before half term.
Brooke  was the first person to write a book review for our reading board recommending a good read for the class.
We held our annual book fair the week before we broke up for half term.parents and children enjoyed choosing books from the cases.

Our final day of the fair was held in the school hall giving us much more room to spread out. parents helped run the fair before and after school. We took £633 giving us 50% commission to buy books for school.Thank you to everyone who supported us. Each class will now choose and order books for their classes.
As part of our Healthy Me science topic Dr.Ridout visited us to tell us how drugs, alcohol and smoking could harm our bodies and reminded us what we need to do in order to stay healthy. We were quite knowledgeable but learned about the diseases and damage  caused by smoking . Important messages about staying healthy as we grew up were given.Lots of questions and answers with everyone involved.

Thank you Dr. Ridout for coming and talking to us.
