Church Schools Festival at Lincoln Cathedral.

On Thursday Year 6 visited Lincoln Cathedral along with 15 other schools as pasrt of the celebration of their journey at primary school nearing its end with secondary school just around the corner.
Our first activity was a choral workshop. We had to hum like bees ...

remember a sequence of humming and making other vocal warm up noises...

under the instruction of Ashleigh.

Next we were taught a Latin verse to sing in rounds.

We also learned a hymn in 2 parts.

Group ready for their next activity- the birds of prey.

Everyone was given the opportunity to hold the falcon.

We were so lucky that the sun shone .

A group of cathedral explorers following clues to find and locate different signs and symbols around the cathedral.

Looks like Rory remembered this.
