Girls Kwik Cricket Tournament

We entered this tournament for the first time- I've never had enough girls to make up a team before so was thrilled to have so many girls in class 3 to choose from.
10 girls enjoyed sunny weather and 5 games of cricket at Grantham Cricket Club.

After our first 3 matches we had lunch picnic style.

 We also enjoyed icecreams later on in the afternoon.

Isaac made it in time to give us some catching practice before our last match, rushing up after his morning lessons.Thanks must also go  to Isaac ( and Mathilda's)grandparents for travelling down and ferrying him across town to us.

                                     

It worked as we won our last match taking 2 catches as well as our bowlers getting 3 wickets and our batters hitting boundaries.

We played 5, won 2 and lost 3 coming 7th overall.
