Volcano making and Superhero clay in art....

As part of our Geography topic learning about volcanoes , children are making a dough version that we will fill with Bicarb and vinegar to replicate a volcano erupting.

With hindsight it may have been better to do this after our PE festival- hence the rather floury Marston jackets! It did brush off well though!

Our volcano...

carefully sculpted ready for the next step when dry.
Elise produced a super piece of work about the earths core which is now on our volcano display.

Art...Superhero clay models...
As part of our Superhero focus in English, Mrs Ballaam is also focusing on superheroes..Children on Friday sculpted their own creations-not easy!
Tyler however soon found out that he was a master sculptor and readily completed his superhero...

some of the finished models.

The painted final models will look fabulous.
