Year 6 Fun and Games afternoon

Following our pizza treat Year 6 had a games afternoon where they enjoyed playing 'Sumo wrestling', cricket, football and a water fight!
Ice cream, drinks and cakes were there to keep up energy levels when needed!

Year 6 Surprise end of term treat.

On Wednesday July 12th year 6 were transported into Grantham to a surprise treat. No child knew where exactly we were going or what we were doing! The treat was to Pizza Express to make our own pizzas!

Hats on- they had numbers on that related to our pizzas- ensuring we got the one we actually made!

                            Not all of us were brave enough to spin our pizza into the perfect circle!

Sandra came to help with the spinning.

To test we had pressed the pizza base into the tin we had to hold it above our heads!

Success- no pizza bases fell out!

We did keep our fingers on the base - just in case!

Now to add the tomato passata ...

                                       not too much at the edge or it would burn.

Mozzarella next- not too much in the middle or it would make a soggy pizza.

Time to pull aprons off- always someone to add the drama to this!

Drink and quiz time whilst pizzas cooked.
